The SH-01 Gaia, is a sixty four voice[4]polyphonicvirtual analoguesynthesizer introduced by Roland Corporation in 2010.
Easy to use with massive tones, Roland's GAIA SH01 is a high-performance and affordable synth with old-school charm. The Gaia SH01’s triple-stacked engine offers the player potent virtual analog synthesis at their fingertips. The SH-01 Gaia is a follow up to the popular SH-201. The lightweight unit is designed with a simple layout and no menu so you can adjust the sounds parameters in real time. It has a USB interface so it can be easily connected up to a computer for sequencing. D Beam controller for sound manipulation. The Roland GAIA SH-01 Digital Synth channels the classic analog sounds from the company's past into a slick, modern package made for today's players. Featuring 37 velocity-sensitive keys, the SH-01 is built with three separate synth engines each with dedicated oscillators, filters, LFOs, and more. The Gaia is an analog modeling synthesizer that retains the basic traits of previous SH-series synths: hands-on tweaking, user-friendly layout and compact design. You won't find any screens or menus on this synth—so if you're in the market for a hands-on, tactile synthesizer, the Roland Gaia SH.
